Chicago consultations now available within 5 business days for cataract, refractive, retina, and second-opinion pathways.

A premium care experience designed to feel calm, informed, and clinically exact

What to expect at each stage of care.

Whether you are visiting for cataract surgery, a second opinion, or disease monitoring, the sequence is built to make the consultation efficient and meaningful.

1

Before you arrive

We confirm the purpose of the visit, relevant history, prior surgery, medications, and whether existing scans or referral letters should be sent ahead.

2

Diagnostic workup on site

Testing is customized to your reason for attendance and may include refraction, pressure checks, OCT, topography, biometry, visual fields, and dilated examination.

3

Consultant discussion

Your clinician reviews the findings, explains what matters clinically, and outlines whether observation, treatment, surgery, or further monitoring is appropriate.

4

Scheduling and preparation

If treatment is recommended, our coordinators explain logistics, timing, peri-operative instructions, and what to expect in the immediate recovery period.

5

Recovery and follow-up

Follow-up intervals are aligned to the procedure or diagnosis. Patients receive written guidance and clear escalation advice for any concerning symptoms.

Traveling for care can still feel organized and personal.

Patients traveling from outside Chicago often need efficient scheduling and decisive consultations. We support this with record review, concentrated testing pathways, and clear documentation back to local clinicians when appropriate.

Plan your visit

Advance review of records

Referral notes, imaging, and medication lists can be reviewed in advance to reduce repetition and focus the appointment.

Condensed scheduling

Where clinically appropriate, diagnostics and surgeon consultation are coordinated on the same day.

Post-visit communication

Patients and referring clinicians receive clear summaries of findings, recommendations, and follow-up timing.

Questions about preparation, anxiety, and recovery.

Clear expectations help patients feel more in control before eye procedures.

Tell us what kind of appointment you need and we will direct you appropriately.

Cataract assessment, laser vision candidacy review, retinal symptoms, glaucoma follow-up, second opinions, and family ophthalmology appointments can all be triaged through our coordination team.
